About three years ago, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 liver lung and bone cancer. I was her caregiver and I moved her to Arkansas so I could take care of her. She had been a coffee addict as long as I can remember but because of her treatment, she could no longer drink it. It made her sick. A friend taught me how to make caramels and I began making her coffee caramels that she would eat every day. Of course I gave the caramels to friends and family and everybody love them. I had a dear friend offered to sell them in her shop and we thought well we might as well give it a try. We had no idea what we were doing but my husband decided that we might as well give it a try and keep going till we get stopped by a barrier that we can’t cross. It has been two years now and we’ve been able to cross every barrier that’s come up against us.
Unfortunately, my mom‘s been gone a little over a year but I know she would be so proud of me for the company that I’ve grown in her honor.
